Our purpose statement urges us:

In St Margaret’s Church

we will move forward by

worshipping our God

loving each other

learning God’s ways

caring for others

sharing our faith

Our worship of God in the name of Jesus Christ and led by the Holy Spirit must be central to all that we do. We recognise that different people prefer different styles and these are reflected in our Sunday services.

But in whatever style we worship, we must worship in Spirit and in truth, worship that comes from the heart, is honest and helps us to meet God and receive his challenge, hope, healing and peace.

We want to love each other within the church and care for each other in appropriate ways

We want to learn about God so that we can love him more and provide ways through worship and groups to grow in our knowledge of him

We want to care for our neighbours in the community and wider world by using our resources to bring suitable help.

We believe that Jesus is so great that we want to share that Good News and help searchers come to faith.
