Weddings

Our church and minister are available for weddings for couples living in our area or with family connections to the area.

(The area is Woodside, Alburne, Pitteuchar, Braid, Dovecot, and Auchmuty between Woodside Road and Warout Road)

The church is a quiet and dignified setting for a wedding as well as being a place where we can conduct a wedding service seeking God’s blessing on the marriage.

A wedding does not have to be expensive and it can be as simple or elaborate as you wish.

The minister would be happy to discuss your needs

 

Baptism

Baptism of children is available to people connected to the church or living in our area.  Baptism makes demands on parents through vows and ongoing involvement with the church and in Jesus Christ

Blessing and Thanksgiving

This is wonderful way of celebrating a new life and asking for God’s blessing where the parents feel that they cannot take the vows and make the commitments at this stage.

The minister will be happy to help you find which is most appropriate

Baptism of adults

This is also available where a person can declare their own faith in Jesus Christ

 

Healing

We believe that the Holy Spirit can still bring healing today just as happened in the early church.

Healing includes healing of physical problems, mental or emotional problems, broken relationship with God, broken relationship with others, guilt or other pains from the past, loss of direction and meaning in life.

It is to restore the peace or wholeness that God wants to bring to us.

Healing services are held four times a year after the 9:30 and 11:15 services
